Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Operating large farm equipment and machinery, including CDL-A trucks and trailers, for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, and harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as corn silage; moving hay from field to storage using CDL-A trucks and trailers; moving hay and straw bales from field to storage using a truck and wagon and stacking bales in storage; drive farm vehicles including truck with trailer; maintenance and repairs to water structures, feed bunks, headlocks, stalls, fences, and corrals; assisting with the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems; pick stones; push/spread manure, direct injection of manure, moving hoses, running pumps, and maintaining manure system; moving liquid manure from storage to fields with CDL-A trucks and tankers; move snow; cover feed bunks, put down plastic and put tires on it; mow and trim lawns with string trimmer, clear brush, and trim bushes and trees; will perform a variety of crop raising duties at various properties in Wayne County; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
