Job Duties:
The worker will be required to work in the shelling plant and responsibilities will include 1/ Accepting delivery of produce from various farmers 2/ Overseeing the operation of the shelling plant 3/ Quality Control 4/ Preparing product for packing and shipping Overseeing the operation of the Agricultural Pecan Operation • Pecan orchard Management: Mowing, tree trimming, raking, harvesting. • Sizing and sampling inshell Pecans • Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance and usage • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations. • Work closely with other farm workers to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. • Perform other duties as assigned by the farm manager or supervisor. • Assist in non-orchard or pecan duties when available such as Corn harvesting (Grain cart operator) maintenance/operating Irrigation systems for pecan orchards or row crops Quality Control of Product Preparing Product for packing and shipping Perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as checking fluid levels, changing oil, and replacing parts as needed. Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs as necessary

Workers must be able to operate self propelled farm machinery such as tractors etc. as well as be computer literate. A small level of Computer Literacy is required for the worker to be able operate the Agricultural Machines that are computer operated. Training on these will also be provided.
