- Job Duties:
- The Farmworkers/Operators will perform various activities associated with growing/harvesting hay, straw, and other crops on our farm. The activities will be exclusively performed in an outdoor environment. Workers will tend to other crops on the farm and greenhouse such as zucchinis, tomatoes, pumpkins, and crops by weeding, planting, harvesting, and trimming. Workers will assist with planting/seeding fields, mowing the hay on the land, and preparing it to be assembled into full bales or square bales. Workers will drive compact tractors, and use other machinery related to haying such as hay tedders, hay baler mowers, and hay rakes. Workers will assist with transporting and storing hay on the farm. Workers will operate other machinery such as small excavators and assist with pre-season irrigation and drainage work. Workers will assist with other routine farm work/maintenance such as minor fencing repairs and equipment repairs. Routine machinery maintenance and repairs are done at location of work.

- Special Requirements:
- Work hours are 60 hours per week. Work in all weather conditions. Ability to lift 75 lbs. 3 months verifiable experience in above duties. Hours may vary based on weather and crop condition. Saturday work as necessary. Overtime available. Employer agrees to provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. The employer would only perform a drug test if there was suspicion of use post-hire at employer expense.
