- Job Duties:
- WORKERS WILL NEED THE KNOWLEDGE OF TRACTORS, PESTICIDE SPRAYERS, IRRIGATION MANAGEMENT, GENERAL FARM LABOR, SHOVEL WORK, CLEANING AND MAINTAINING SHOP. EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE, LIVESTOCK - FEEDING AND GENERAL DAY TO DAY CARE OF CATTLE AND HORSES. WORKERS MUST BE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO PERFORM DUTIES DESCRIBED PLUS LONG PERIODS OF SITTING ON TRACTORS AND FARM EQUIPMENT, WALKING AND LIFTING OF 50 LBS. JOB REQUIRES HAVING OR BEING ABLE TO OBTAIN A DRIVER'S LICENSE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE. BASIC ENGLISH LITERACY AND MATH SKILLS REQUIRED. JOB DUTIES WILL REQUIRE WORKERS TO BE OUTDOORS FOR EXTENDED PERIODS WHEN TEMPERATURES MAY EXCEED 100 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT.
