The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
This application encompasses general farm work and labor on a fruit ranch. This job requires a minimum of three months of general farm labor, irrigation, and general harvest duties. The lifting requirement for this position is 60 pounds. All other duties assigned under this order will be those duties of Farm Workers and Laborer Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse, under the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment Statistics Standard Occupational Classification Code 45-2092.
