- Job Duties:
- We need seasonal employees to assist with building a biodigester on the farm. Cleaning and preparing farm construction site, farm and construction waste, farm, and construction equipment. Loading and unloading materials and equipment on the farm. Forming, rebar setting, concrete placement and finishing for farm digesters. Erecting and dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures for farm digester. Digging trenches and holes, compacting, and backfilling trenches/holes on the farm. Farm lagoon and farm digester membrane installation, EPDM welding, and cover installation. Rough carpentry for farm fixtures and buildings. Farm manure PVC plumbing. Farm digester mechanical component installation. Use of hand tools and power tools for farm maintenance and farm digester installation. Following instructions from supervisors and implementing plans. Responsible for following health and safety policies on the farm site. Operate hand tools, power tools, farm and construction equipment on the farm site. Variety of working conditions, indoors and outdoors, including heights, loud noises, and dust. Other construction and farm duties that arise at the farm digester construction site. Ability to follow direct instruction. Flexibility for changing tasks and assignments. A willingness to learn new skills and attend technical training. Willingness to live on the farm site in company provided housing.
