- Job Duties:
- General workers are needed for crawfish production. Work includes tractor driving, field preparation, water management, and harvesting of crawfish. Preparation work includes manual cutting bait, pulling and hoeing of weeds, spot spraying, fencing, and general pond labor. Harvesting involves cutting bait, setting and raising traps, sacking crawfish, weighing, tagging, and storing in cooler. Workers must be able to lift 60 lbs. Workers will also assist with minor repairs to crawfish traps and boats. Job involves stooping, lifting and working outside in inclement weather. Employer may require, post hire, upon suspicion or post-accident drug testing at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply, may result in termination.
