- Job Duties:
- Duties will include manually planting, watering, weeding, pruning, cleaning and performing general maintenance of tree stock. May use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, watering equipment, and knives. Duties may include tilling soil and applying fertilizers. Duties will also include shifting and replanting trees from one planting container to the next, larger planting container. Duties will include loading and unloading trees on yard trailers, delivery trucks, and customer trucks. Some operating of farm equipment may be required. Some driving of company vehicles may be required. Duties may include irrigation repair; construction or repair of greenhouses or shade structures; and development of new growing areas.
