Job Duties:

Perform duties on a farm for a farm like: Drive and operate harvesting machines or custom cutting machinery to harvest a variety of grain and oil-seed crops, and cotton during downtime from clients’ farms. Adjust speeds of cutters, blowers and conveyors, and weight of cutting head, using hand tools. Change cutting head as appropriate for crop.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Drug screen is required due to the liability of of operating equipment. Criminal background check is required due to expensive tools and equipment and the presence of children on the farm. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment.
