Job Duties:

General duties for employees will include working on farms, transporting corn and grain by operating tractors and grain carts, as well as carrying out general maintenance tasks for the farming equipment. Employees will be expected to receive corn from combine harvesters, then transport and load the corn/grain into semi-trucks. Workers will empty all corn/grain from the semi-trucks and wagons into augers or pits to fill up grain bins. Workers will need to operate tractors pulling tillage equipment throughout the fields and will transport fertilizer from the supplier to the application equipment in the field by using a pickup truck. Daily maintenance of farming machinery includes fueling up the equipment, greasing the bearings, and oiling chains. Equipment operated may include pickup, tractor or combine harvester. General farm labor experience including heavy farm equipment and machinery operation preferred.
