We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop production. We farm with a variety of crops including soybeans, pearl millet, brown top millet, wheat, wheat straw, pine straw, sweet corn, watermelons, cantaloupe, blueberries, satsuma oranges, peanuts, cotton and hay. We need employees to operate farm equipment including tractors, balers, rakes, sprayers, and cutters, to help with the production of these crops. Employees will need to mow, spray, rake, cut, bale, load and haul the crops. Employees will assist in field and farm clean up and land prep. Employees will be required to complete straw duties including raking, windrowing, baling and clearing land and logging debris. Straw duties will be done with equipment and by hand. Employees will need to be able to perform physical work. Employees will complete general farm duties, barn repair and farm structure maintenance repair and vegetation control. Employees will complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employees will be required to perform all general farm labor. AD HOC. We also need employees to assist with our farm to market cattle operation. We raise calves and sell them in the spring. Our cattle are confined in October and while in confinement they need to be fed and watered. Employees will need to haul hay and feed cattle. Calving starts in October and ends in November. Employees will need to assist with birthing and deliveries during this time. After calving is done, calves and cows are cared for until they are released to pastures in April. During this time, they require daily feeding and care. In April, May, and June we catch the yearlings and prepare them for sale. They are worked, loaded, and sold. By July we no longer need assistance until the next calving season since the new stock is in pastures and do not need to be cared for until the next confinement period.

Job requires extensive walking, pushing, pulling and repetitive movements. We conduct post-hire drug testing at no cost to the employees to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. We also conduct post-hire background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a violent/theft criminal background. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Employees will need to have a regular drivers license and 3 months experience operating farm equipment.
