Job Duties:

Performs a variety of manual and mechanized tasks associated with hay production including cutting, raking, and baling hay crop. Soil preparation, operating tillage equipment, cutting equipment. Hauling bales to storage barns. Attach farm implements such as plow, disc, and drill to tractor and drive tractor in field. Perform a variety of other duties such as lubricating and repairing farm machinery. Operate equipment safely, with or without direction. Must follow quality control standards and production procedures. General farm maintenance and other duties as required in the farming operation maintenance. Includes, but not limited to, preparing barns preparing land, maintenance of tools & equipment. Also includes fixing, clearing, and painting of fences / barns. Workers with proper licensing and clean driving records may be asked to drive light farm trucks. Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds.
