- Job Duties:
- Participate in the inspection, grading, and post-harvest treatment of crops by drying to reduce moisture levels; Identify pests to determine the selection and application of pesticides during drying; Use hand tools to repair erosion areas on fallow acres during dormant months; Remove trees to reclaim land on fallow acres and around power units, remove debris including using a chain saw and pile trees and other natural debris for burning or decomposing after crop is harvested and prior to planting; Winterize watering systems to prevent damage from winter weather.
