The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
Job requires tending to livestock in the forms of feeding, examining, tagging, and processing; operating front loaders, ATVs, squeeze chutes, and farm trucks; conducting the repair and maintenance of farm equipment and fencing. The job will require workers to do the following tasks: feed cows daily, check cows daily, assist with vet visits, and assist with medication administration. Basic literacy and math skills along with 3 months of experience will be required. Applicant must have a valid driver's license. Moderate cell phone use will be allowed while working.
