The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. - All General Farm Labor Related To Broccoli, Minni Sweet Peppers, Green Beans, Eggplant, Squash, Zucchini, Tomatoes, Peanuts, and Cotton. All general labor listed on this contract above. To harvest, plant, pick, grade, count, prune, load, unload, and all farm labor related to broccoli, ghost pepper, zucchini, yellow squash, butternut beans, peas, turnips, green beans, eggplant, tomato, okra, peanuts, and cotton. All jobs will be done under extreme weather conditions, repetitive movements like bending, stooping and heavy lifting. Workers will also be pulling weeds, lining rows, picking up stumps, raking, pulling plastic, cleaning around shed areas, laying irrigation pipes, cleaning fields, and digging ditches.
