- Job Duties:
- Temporary, seasonal workers needed for crawfish, rice, and soybean farm. Job duties include crawfishing in boats, catching crawfish, performing crawfishing duties in fields; manually cutting up fish bait, bait/check traps, operate crawfish boats; grade/wash crawfish for shipment; handle sacks of crawfish; make repairs to traps as needed; tractor, equip. and truck driving; operate farm equip.; field prep, water maint,; fertilize/plant/harvest crops; manual shovel work, hoe weeds; spot spray; repair/maintain bins, equip., farm and fences; pull weeds by hand; maintain fields, levees, roads and shop; load/unload trucks; may drive delivery truck. Base hours offered is 40 hours offered; overtime hours are usually offered during plentiful season and may include an additional 10-40 hours of overtime work depending on the nature of the season; higher wage may be paid based on experience.
