The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
Agricultural employee is required to work with many different types of farm machinery for preparing and loading feed. Troubleshooting and maintaining equipment. Loading and unloading trailers from on top or down below with correct feed. Use a forklift ad pallet jack. Adheres to the cleaning and maintenance schedule. Walks on catwalks and up on top of the elevator and climb ladders as needed. Perform all activities required to complete daily feed mill checklist. Worker will the exposed to many different types of organic grain dust temperature swings. Increased wages and or bonus may be possible depending on experience.

Employer provided items (at no cost to the worker): All tools and equipment necessary to perform the duties assigned as well as transportation between worker(s) on-site housing and the work site. A cell phone or two-way radio will be provided for emergency and ranch communications at no cost to the worker (excluding long distance charges). The expected work schedule may be required in a split shift due to the nature of the job duties. Hours may vary due to weather, time of year and the requirements of the job. Work may be offered more than the specified hours per day, but only required to work the hours specified. Work may be offered 7 days a week but only required 6 days a week.
