Job Duties:
HARVESTING OF VEGTABLES: ONCE AT THE HARVESTING LOCATION, DOING A ROW AT A TIME, WORKERS WILL MOVE DOWN THE ROW PLUCKING THE VEGTABLES FROM THE PLANT AND PACKING THEM IN TO A CONTAINER. ONCE THE CONTAINER IS FULL, WORKERS TAKE CONTAINERS TO THE TRUCK/OR DUMP AT TRUCK. THE WORKER WILL GO BACK TO HIS PICKING AREA A FILL HIS CONTAINER UP AGAIN, REPEATING THIS PROCESS THROUGH THE WORK DAY. HARVESTING BLUE BERRIES: BY HAND, THE WORKERS WILL WALK DOWN THE BLUEBERRY FEILD ROW PLUCKING FRUIT FROM THE TREE AND PLACING THEM INTO CONTAINERS,MAKING SURE NOT TO DAMAGE FRUIT OR BREAK/DAMAGE THE TREE AND NOT KNOCKING DOWN UNRIPE FRUIT. WHEN THE CONTAINER IS FULL WORKERS WILL TAKE CONTAINERS AND DELIVER CONTAINERS TO THE TRUCK AT THE END OF ROW.THE WORKERS WILL GO BACK TO HIS PICKING AREA AND FILL HIS CONTAINER UP AGAIN AND REPEAT THIS PROCESS THROUGH THE DAY. HARVESTING STRAWBERRIES: HARVESTING STRAWBERRYS BY HAND THE WORKER WILL WALK DOWN THE STRAWBERRY FEILD ROW PLUCKING AND PACKING THE STRAWBERRY INTO A CONTAINER, MAKING SURE NOT TO DAMAGE THE FRUIT WHILE PLUCKING/PACKING OR DAMAGE THE PLANT PERIOD. WHEN THE CONTAINER IS FULL WORKER WILL TAKE CONTAINER THE TRUCK AT THE END OF THE ROW.THE WORKERS WILL GO BACK TO HIS PICKING AREA AND FILL HIS CONTAINER UP AGAIN AND REPEAT THIS PROCESS THROUGH THE DAY. HARVESTING TOMATOES WORKER WILL GO DOWN THE ROW FILLING HIS CONTAINER UP WITH FRUIT MAKING SURE NOT TO DAMAGE FRUIT OR PLANT. WHEN THE CONTAINER IS FULL WORKER WILL TAKE CONTAINER TO DELIVER/OR DUMP CONTAINER AT THE END OF THE ROW TO THE TRUCK. THE WORKERS WILL GO BACK TO HIS PICKING AREA AND FILL HIS CONTAINER UP AGAIN AND REPEAT THIS PROCESS THROUGH THE DAY. FEILD MAINTANCE WORKER WILL TIE, STAKE, PRUN PLANTS, CLEAN MICRO JETS, REMOVE PLASTIC , REMOVE PLASTIC DRIP LINES, USING HANDS OR A HOE WORKERS WILL REMOVE DEAD PLANTS OR WEEDS. THE WORKERS IN ORDER TO PREFORM THIS TYPE OF WORK MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OUTSIDE FOR AT LEAST 6 HOURS A DAY IN ALL KINDS OF WEATHER AND BE IN POSSESSION OF THE REQUISITE PHSYICAL STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE, WORK QUICKLY, SKILLFULLYWITH THEIR HANDS REPEATEDLY. THE EMPLOYER WILL PROVIDE THE TOOLS NECESSARY ( IF APPILICABLE )TO PREFORM THE DESCRIBE JOB DUTIES WITHOUT CHARGE TO THE WORKER. THE EMPLOYER WILL CHARGE FOR REASONABLE COST RELATED TO WORKER REFUSE OR NEGILANCE FAILURE TO RETURN THE TOOLS OR DO SUCH WILLFUL DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION OF TOOLS.WORK THAT QUIEFLIES MY BE REQUIREED TO DRIVE AGRICULTURE MACHINARY SUCH AS TRACTORS, FORK LIFTS, TRUCKS. EMPLOYEES MY VOLENTEER TO WORK ADDIONTAIL HOURS WHEN WORK IS AVAIBLE. WORKER SHOULD EXPECT OCCASIONAL PERIODS OF NO WORK DUE TO WEATHER, CROPS OR OTHER CONDITIONS BEYOND EMPLOYER CONTROL. THESE PERIODS MAY OCCUR AT ANY POINT OF THE SEASON, IF THE WORKER REQUEST LEAVE OF ABSENSE DURING THESE PERIODS OF NO WORK THE HOURS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM HOURS OFFERED UNDER THE ETA790. A COPY OF THE WORK CONTRACT OR A COPY OF THE ETA790 LIEU OF A WORK CONTACT AND ANY MODIFICATIONS, WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE H2A WORKER NO LATER THAN THE TIME AT WHICH THE WORKER APPLIED FOR THE VISA, OR TO A WORKER IN CORRESPONDING EMPLOYMENT NO LATER THAN ON THE WORK DAY. FOR AN H2A WORKER GOING FROM AN H2A EMPLOYER TO SUBSEQUENT H2A EMPLOYER, A COPY OF THE CONTRACT WILL BE PROVIDED NO LATER THAN THE TIME AN OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT IS MADE BY SUBSEQUENT H2A EMPLOYER.

THIS TYPE OF WORK INVOLVES WORKING CONDITIONS THAT REQUIRE TREMENDOUS STAMINA, A HIGH LEBEL OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN COLD OR EXTREMELY HOT CONDITIONSIN DIRECT SUNLIGHT AND IN ADVERSE WEATHER SUCH AS RAIN. THE WORK REQUIRES A HIGH LEVEL OF PHYSICAL CONDITION. DUE TO THE TYPE OF WORK INVOLVED, THERE IS A PROBATIONARY PERIOD OF FIVE DAYS (5) BEGINNING THE FIRST DAY OF EMPLOYMENT, TO SHOW POSSESSION OF THE REQUISITE PHYSICAL STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE TO PREFORM THIS TYPE OF WORK. DUE TO THE EXTREME HEAT AND PHYSICAL STRAIN THAT THIS WORK REQUIRES THERE IS A NO ALCOHOL POLICY DURING WORK OR AFTER WORK.
