Job Duties:

The employees requested will be used to ensure that winter crops, such as winter wheat, are maintained and watered on a property that is approximately 3000 acres or more. The employees will be responsible for checking growth daily, running and maintaining all equipment utilized to keep the operation running, and for all other crop maintenance between planting and harvesting season. Planting and harvesting will be contracted to a third party and therefor H2A workers will not be utilized to plant and harvest crops. Employees may be required to assist with planting and harvesting as needed. Employees will be utilized to oversee crops during winter wheat growing season. Employees will be responsible for ensuring crops are watered and pivots and equipment are operational to do so. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion., Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

Special Requirements:

Job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have a regular driver's license. Requires 3 months farm experience.
