- Job Duties:
- Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock from one location to another; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Inspect, maintain, fashion, and repair facilities, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Drive tractors and other equipment to distribute feed to animals and to move manure/fertilizer; Provide mineral to cattle grazing corn stalks.
