- Attend to live horses: Mare care and tending to newborn foals, observe and assist foaling mares, assist veterinarian with medical treatments as prescribed, cleaning and power washing stock area and stalls, general observation of all horses in the barn and pastures, daily feeding and grooming of horses in care, supervise halter breaking and handling of weanlings
