Job Duties:

Perform duties like: Set metal or wooden posts in upright positions in postholes. Drive metal posts with a hammer or post driver. Stretch wire fence between posts and attach fencing to posts. Building and maintaining winter gazing fences. Feeding cattle salt, mineral and supplement. Moving cattle to different winter grazing fields. Snow removal. Set up water tanks and water systems. Maintain and repair fencing equipment. Drive pick-up truck to town for cattle supplies on occasion.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
