Job Duties:

All the machines and equipment will go through a thorough inspection, service,and repair process. Each machine will have a manufacturer’s annual maintenance procedure that needs to be followed to ensure proper operation of the equipment during the work season. This seasonal post harvest work process will include the disassembly and reassembly of major components for replacement of bearings, lubricants, filters, parts, and worn components, and surfacing and welding of cracks. Cleaning of each machine must be done prior to any maintenance work. The work will include heavy lifting of machine parts and holding them in place during reassembly. May need to drive to town to pick up mechanical supplies. The worker must be able to handle complex tasks that require logical thought, care, and paying attention to details.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 12 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Extensive sitting is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
