- Job Duties:
- Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse including: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as drying, bagging processing; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray, water, and harvest crops such as soybeans, rice; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer to be delivered to market or storage facilities; Manually walk fields to weed; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures.
