- Job Duties:
- Duties to be performed: Row crop farming: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, spray, cultivate, harvest and store crops. Attach farm implements such as plow, disc and drill tractor. Till the soil, rock picking, plant and cultivate grain. Irrigation of rice, corn and soybeans. Drain excess water from crops and assist in the irrigation of crops. Drive tractor and operate self-propelled combine. Equipment maintenance - general lubrication, service (fluid checks) and perform incidental repair to farm machinery. Manual labor: pick up and carry sacks of grain, load and unload trucks. Crops: rice, corn and soybeans.

- Special Requirements:
- Must know GPS guidance. Minimum of 3 months verifiable experience required. Work is performed outdoors, and workers will be exposed to extreme warm to hot temperatures and humid conditions. Job duties require physical and manual labor and tasks might involve extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, and walking. Some tasks will involve repetitive movements, frequent stooping and bending over. Workers must be able to lift agricultural tools, equipment and bags of harvested crops that weigh up to 60lbs. Workers must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30-60 days of hire. Due to the presence of children on the farm and the liability of driving on roads, and/or driving big expensive machinery, a drug screening and/or criminal background check will be required post-hire at the employer's expense. Failure to pass drug screening and/or criminal background checks will result in termination of employment with our company.
