Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting of crops; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery such as swather, truck, baler, plow, landplane, drill to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest forage and grain crops; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Maintain inventory; Trap and destroy pests such as moles, gophers, and mice; Repair, fashion, maintain farm buildings, fences, water structures, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; Ship, receive, sort; Perform land management such as mowing and spraying; Open and close gates; Maintain fields for mineral and nutrient availability
