- Job Duties:
- Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, rice; Manually lay poly pipe, check water levels; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Assist with calving and weaning calves; Vaccinating, ear tagging, and feeding supplements.
