Job Duties:

Manage honey production and maintain colonies of honeybees. Ensure sufficient food reserves, construct hives, and replace combs. Collect and package hive products: honey, beeswax, and pollen. Control pests. Making hive increases, manage queen bees. Manage lawn areas in and around bee yards. Make hive reports daily. Support bee smokers and extract honey. Workers may receive salary increases or bonuses based on merit, skill, and/or experience at the sole discretion of the employer.

Special Requirements:

12 months of apiary experience required. Must be able to use impact driver, drill, air tools, skill saw, hammer, various hand tools, bee smoker, bee snit, tractor, and front-end loader. Due to the operation of machinery and vehicles, drug testing may be conducted post-hire at the employer's expense. All workers may be subject to mandatory testing if they have been involved in a reportable accident or upon reasonable suspicion that drug use is impacting job performance.
