Job Duties:

We operate a grain and cattle operation - raising corn, soybeans and alfalfa. Cow/calf operation runs approximately from February 1 to June 1 for calving. Employee will operate a tractor and farm truck. Employee will assist with cattle by helping run through alleyway, giving vaccinations to new born calves, checking/fixing fence, and working/sorting cattle. Employee will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial truck driving is required. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employer’s discretion.

Job requires extensive walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
