Job Duties:

We operate a corn, rice, crawfish and cattle operation in Ragley, Louisiana. We need a seasonal employee to assist with our crop farming operation during the crop season. Employee will need to do field preparation which includes using a laser level, cultivate the fields, create/maintain/fix ditches, make rows, etc for the crop planting season. Employee will need to operate farm equipment including tractors and implements to plant, raise and harvest crops. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. During the season employee will assist with general farm duties as assigned including shop work, cleaning equipment and tools and organizing shop. Crawfish job duties include putting out crawfish traps, fishing crawfish out of the traps, preparing crawfish bait, keeping crawfish boat tidy after catches and picking up traps at the end of the season.
