Job Duties:

We grow sod, mow sod and harvest sod on about 140 acres, all at different stages during the year. Sod is also hauled to various locations. We need seasonal employees to grow sod, mow sod and harvest sod. Employees will operate tractors and harvesters. Frequent stooping is required mostly during the process of netting sod, shortly after planting the new seeds, this is part of growing the sod. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing this crop, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
