Job Duties:
We will plow, plant, haul and harvest, the following crops including sod, corn, green beans and a Spring/Fall peanuts. We need seasonal employees to operate Tractor/Trailer Semis to assist with the upcoming year. Employees will need to drive semi-tractor trailers to haul the commodity from our fields to the farm, storage bins and/or mills. Operate equipment in storage bins, such as forklift. Assist with grain corn, silage harvest and hay hauling. Use power equipment including but not limited to tractors of various horsepower, mowers, plows, excavation equipment, power shears, high lifts, skid loaders, UTV. Service farm machinery, engines, trucks, and trailers make in-field repairs. service/repairs include but is not limited to: fueling, changing filters, inspecting for wear and/or failure, lubricating grease points, inspecting and maintaining fluid levels, tire air pressures, belt and conveyer chain tensions, radiator and filter function, and brake performance, removing and replacing tires, wheels, bearings, belts, wear parts, filters, brake shoes, wheel seals, suspension parts, lights and lenses and chain or chain links. Lift, carry, and load/unload products or supplies. Assist with farm shop/ field maintenance and repairs. All workers will be responsible for picking up trash, cleaning equipment, mowing grass, delivering, and receiving goods and supplies, sweeping floors and other farm sanitation duties. Employees will need to do routine maintenance and repairs to equipment/truck. Power-wash trucks, trailers, combine machines, and dump carts. Work is done in the field sometimes for long periods of time, this is to ensure the crop is cared for, harvested, and delivered in a timely manner. Must operate agricultural equipment safely, with or without direction. Workers must obey all safety rules and basic instructions and be able to recognize, understand and comply with safety. Employer will instruct workers in the safety and operation of equipment before use. Workers must operate equipment in a manner that protects the operator, other workers, products, and equipment.

Special Requirements:
Must have a class A CDL license or equivalent or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at employer's expense since we operate a drug-free workplace. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Position requires 3 months experience having a class A CDL or equivalent operating tractors/trailers.
