Job Duties:

We have a row crop farming operation consisting of 4,000 acres. We grow corn, soybeans, rice, and occasionally cotton. 1,000 acres are furrow irrigation and requires poly pipe. Employees will need to assist with planting, disking, spraying, fertilizing, irrigating, harvesting, and hauling crops from fields to storage with farm trucks. Employees will need to operate John Deere equipment. Job requires long hours during planting and harvesting seasons. Employees will need to complete routine maintenance and repairs to fences, pastures and equipment. Employees will need to cut and bale hay. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial truck driving is required.

Special Requirements:

Job requires extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, walking, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire drug testing at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not hire anyone with a violent or theft criminal background. Must be able to obtain a regular driver's license. Require 3 months equipment operation experience.
