The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Performs the following duties for row crop farming: tractor driving, truck driving, irrigation of crops, work on farm equipment, wash equipment, driving sprayer, planting, harvesting ,cultivation, etc. of crops, installing irrigation pipe driving backhoe, shovel work when needed, grain bin work when needed, mowing around fields and buildings when needed. May ask workers to do some work around the office on the farm ONLY if rain prevents work from being done outdoors.Equipment: Tractor, trucks, combine, sprayer, backhoe, trachoe. (All John Deere)Crops: Cotton, Rice, Soy Beans, Corn

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
