- Job Duties:
- Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Clean, repair, maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plant, cultivate, stack, harvest crops such as turf; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas, shop, and house and maintain grounds and landscaping including mowing; Perform field sanitation duties; Follow all posted safety and work rules.
