- Job Duties:
- Clean, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Inform farmers or farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery such as sprayer, planter, combine, skid steer to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, milo, sesame, wheat, sunflowers; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Build agricultural structures; Repair, maintain, fashion farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Atten to live farm animals including cattle by calving, feeding, watering, monitoring, weaning, processing, sorting, selling; Perform cedar tree removal from field/pastures.
