- Job Duties:
- Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery such as swather, rake, baler to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as hay, wheat, corn soybeans; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attend to live farm animals including cattle such as breeding heifers, caring for and ensuring pregnancy, selling; Attach implements using hand tools.
