Job Duties:
Drive tractors: prepare fields for planting crops, plant, cultivate and harvest crops; plant and tend to plots to control grass and weeds unload and store seeds and supplies; haul seeds, fuel to field. Perform general farm labor jobs: maintenance on farm equipment (clean, oil, repair); repair fences; repair and clean farm buildings (sheds, barns, etc.); mow areas around buildings and keep clean and free from debris; Spray herbicides to control weeds and grass. Bale hay, care for livestock (transfer from one pasture to another, spraying for insects, etc.) Alternative work includes general farm maintenance, cleaning shed areas, etc. Use hoes, shovels, wrenches, etc. Drive farm trucks. Worker will be on a 40 hour per week schedule. The scheduled hours will be Mon.-Fri. 7 am to 4 pm. Exceptions to scheduled hours include but are not limited to after-hours work during harvest season, when crop has matured, or when harvesting is necessary prior to inclement weather. Raises and/or bonuses may be given to any worker at the company?s discretion, based on work performance, skill and tenure.

Work entire contract period and hours described. Must provide proof of eligibility to work in United States. Able to drive 250 hp tractor with 12 row farm implements. Required to complete employer provided training required by the Federal Worker Protection Standard.
