- Job Duties:
- Clean, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Build agricultural structures; Attach implements using hand tools; Attend to live farm animals including cattle by calving, vaccinating, branding, ear tagging, feeding additives/vitamins; Remove snow; Operate equipment to cultivate, till, fertilize, plant spring crops, lettuce, peppers; Clean irrigation ditches; Swath, rake, bale, stack, move, store hay.
