Job Duties:
Feed cows and heifers to increase strength for calving; calving cows and heifers; tagging calves as they are born; checking cow and calf health daily; manually pull calves when necessary; warm calves up for survival; remove dead calves; seclude sick calves; administer medicine as directed and necessary and within 2 hours of birth; sort calves into working facilities; tracking calf gender and growth; scrape manure out of pens; break ice in watering facilities; sort and sell weaned calves; check grass pasture fence, move cows to pasture; drive farm UTV or feed pickup for handling cattle.
