Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties contained within SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, spraying, harvesting, moving, storing, repackaging/rebanding, and shipping of agricultural grain and forage crops such as wheat, hay, soybeans, corn; Operate or tend farm equipment used in agricultural production such as tractor, combine, planter, grain cart, mower, tillage tool; Adjust farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions; Attach farm implements using bolts and hand tools; Irrigate soil using center pivot and pipe irrigation systems; Maintenance and repair of all types of farm, irrigation, and grain handling equipment, supporting equipment, and upkeep of farm and related facilities.
