Job Duties:

Worker will prepare trees for harvest by cutting roots and removing soil using a shovel, pick ax, and tools. Workers will also package mechanically dig trees for transport by wrapping root ball in burlap, tying baskets and branches with sisal rope and crimping wire baskets. Workers will assist loading trailers, cover with transport tarps and tie trees using rope. In addition, workers will unload bare root trees to be planted, carrying bundles of trees, weight 50-75 pounds from tractor trailer to staging area 50-100 feet away. Workers will also prune, load, plant, ad stake new trees. Employees will perform general farm duties including but not limited to unloading and organizing supplies, cleaning up and maintenance of farm grounds and facilities. Must be willing and able to work in inclement weather.
