Job Duties:
Greet all customers promptly and courteously. •Workers with a clean MVR and able to obtain an insurable driver's license may be requested to drive company vehicles to obtain merchandise and transfer products & supplies . All delivery drivers will be able to return to their residence or employer-provided housing within the same workday. Assist in all aspects of the elevator operations 1. Operate vehicle pick up grain from customer or another location and deliver to a Landus facility. 2. Operate a pay loader to assist in pile pick-up or loading agronomy products 3. Receiving and unloading grain operations 4. Loading grain trucks 5. Keeping facility clean and safe by cleaning and sweeping areas 6. Grain train loading operations including opening lids and sealing train cars 7. Operate a skid loader to clean up around the facility 8. Understand Lock out/tag out for confined space entry 9. Enter confined space with a full-time employee to clean out bins and boot pits 10. Assist in tarping piles of grain & pile pick-up 11. Operate a trackmobile 12. Ability to take inventory 13. Operate a grain dryer 14. Ability to operate the scale as needed • Assist in all aspects of the fertilizer and chemical operations, if applicable to location 1. Apply chemicals, NH3, and fertilizer to fields via sprayer or fertilizer spreader 2. Haul products via trucks to the field or other locations 3. Fill NH3 nurse tanks during season with another employee 4. Perform maintenance on nurse tanks 5. Unload fertilizer rail cards 6. Load chemical & fertilizer trucks 7. Operate a fork lift to move products 8. Load chemicals for customers with a Landus employee 9. Keep facility clean and safe by cleaning and sweeping areas 10. Ability to take inventory • Assist with general maintenance of the facility 1. Ability to learn and run power tools 2. Diagnose and perform maintenance on equipment 3. Grease chains and bearings 4. Identify issues or problems, such as when a bearing is bad or a broken wire on hazard monitoring equipment 5. Identify potential problems and repair as necessary 6. Operate a lawn mower & weed eater 7. Spraying weeds 8. Painting assigned areas 9. Load and unload products and goods as assigned • Be willing to perform these duties at assigned Landus locations as needed. • Champion of safety compliance throughout organization.
