- Job Duties:
- We are primarily a corn and soybean farm of 30,000 acres. In addition to the typical row crop farming tasks, we store all of our own grain in our own bins/facilities, load and haul it all to the processors on our own, and do land improvement (tiling, backhoe, drainage work) on all of our own ground. We need seasonal employees to assist in hauling our crops to our home storage facilities from the fields, and from our facilities to the local processors. Employees will also be tasked to help with planting, spraying (tendering fuel, chemical and fertilizer) and harvesting of crops. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

- Job requires extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire, random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and employee must be able to obtain an Illinois drivers license or International equivalent within 7 days of hire. Require 3 months farm experience.
