Job Duties:

By hand, plant, cultivate, harvest, pack and load watermelons, cantaloupe, pumpkins, and gourds. Install, repair and remove plastic mulch and drip line irrigation. Mix fertilizer, foliar feed, haul, and transfer to injection tanks. Tarp cotton modules, operate module builders, build fences. Pick rocks, chop weeds. Drive tractor, trucks to harvest hay, wheat, cotton, corn, and milo. Must be able to obtain Texas driver's license. Job-related drug testing of operators of tractors, machinery, and/or heavy equipment may be conducted after hire at employer's expense. Workers may receive salary increases and bonuses based upon merit, skill, and/or experience at the sole discretion of the employer.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to obtain drivers license. Once hired, worker may be required to submit to a random drug test at no cost to worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to operate tractors, skid steer, cotton strippers, grain combines, forklift, tiller, hay rake and baler, module builders, bole buggies, cantaloupe belt, side by side, pickup truck and trailer, drip laying and repairing equipment, and transplanter rig, and understand mechanics of irrigation systems.
