Job Duties:

As a general farm laborer, employees will engage in the spraying of fertilizer and pesticide solutions on crops to protect the crops against insects, fungus, and weed growth using sprayer. Operate the production of grain, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Operation of tractors with plows, discs, sprayers, and combine harvesting equipment. Drive trucks and trailers to haul equipment and crops after harvest. May occasionally apply lubricant to equipment in the event it is necessary to prevent damage, though not performing any major repairs to equipment. Employees may assist with livestock operations on the farm. Employees may participate in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of farm buildings and grounds.

Special Requirements:

Position requires a Class D Drivers License and the ability to lift 60 pounds. Position also requires 3 months of experience operating farm equipment such as tractors, combines, and sprayers. Post-employment drug tests are paid for by employer when applicable.
