- Job Duties:
- Operate farming equipment in order to plant, fertilize, harvest and re-plant freshly grown turf sod at a turf sod farming operation. Plant, fertilize, mow and care for turf sod during the initial growing stages. Drive forklift to stack pallets and tubes for harvesting. Re-plant turf sod on public or private property in a manner that ensures continued growth as the final and most important stage of sod farming. Perform basic farm duties such as servicing equipment, postharvest field clean-up, and general facility upkeep/maintenance.
