Job Duties:

We farm 5,000 acres of cotton, peanuts, corn, and wheat. We utilize several John Deere tractors with attachments: harrows, combines, wagons, planters. We also have self-contained (no tractor required) cotton pickers, sprayers, and fertilizer applicators. We need someone who has experience and willingness to be at work every day that is required, be willing to learn how to operate machinery, and can follow directions/instructions. Experience and willingness to learn, and the ability to listen is a must. Employees must know how, or be able to learn, to operate self-contained equipment (sprayers, fertilizer applicators, cotton pickers). Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

Job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
