- Job Duties:
- Plowing, planting, cultivating various vegetable produce such as tomatoes, bell peppers and jalapenos, and nursery stock. Mowing (140 acres) for cattle, bailing hay, feeding cattle. Farm fence repair. Picking, processing, boxing and packaging crop for retailers. May use tractor, hay sythe, roto-tillers, hand clippers and sledge hammers for driving stakes. May perform incidental driving duties, such as driving from housing to worksite and driving farm vehicles and equipment on farms, etc.

- Special Requirements:
- Workers must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently. Workers must be physically fit to perform job duties without succumbing to excessive exhaustion. Workers will be provided safety training and will be expected to handle tools/equipment safely and carefully so as to avoid crop damage and to protect the worker from potential injury. No smoking, alcohol or illegal weapons or controlled substances in the worksite or in the houses. Able to stoop, bend, and work in cold and wet conditions. Safety use and training provided by employer. Workers must abide by Employer housing rules. Ability to communicate in English or Spanish is required for training and safety purposes. (i.e. Workers must listen to, understand and follow instructions of Employer supervisors and managers.) Work is performed outdoors and can involve exposure to sun, wind, mud, dust, heat, cold and other elements of the normal field environment.
