Job Duties:

We farm 5,000 acres of corn and soybeans in North Central Iowa. All farming operations are performed in-house, including dirt work, grain delivery, planting, harvesting, fertilizer and spraying application. Employees will operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Employees will assist with loading product into trucks, and drive farm trucks or storage facilities. Employees will also assist with cleaning/shoveling bottom of grain bin and clearing/maintaining irrigation ditches. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial trucking is required.
